Expansion of Mental Health Services in Willmar: Greater Minnesota Family Services Welcomes New Therapists
WILLMAR, MN — Greater Minnesota Family Services (GMFS) has announced an expansion of its Wellness Path program, adding two licensed graduate social workers, Dione Wangen and Natalie Campos, to its roster of mental health professionals. This initiative underscores GMFS’s commitment to enhancing mental health services in the Willmar community, catering to both individuals and families in need of support.
The new therapists will operate from the GMFS facility located at 513 Fifth St. S.W. in Willmar, providing outpatient mental health therapy services. The addition of Wangen and Campos reflects an increasing awareness of the mental health challenges faced by many and the importance of accessible support services. Wangen brings a diverse array of therapeutic approaches to her practice, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care, aiming to offer personalized treatment that responds to the unique needs of her clients.

Campos, on the other hand, is noted for her impressive linguistic skills, offering therapy in both English and Spanish. This bilingual capability is vital for addressing the needs of a diverse clientele and helps to break down language barriers that may prevent individuals from seeking necessary care.
Both therapists are committed to providing flexible appointment options, including evening slots and telehealth services, to adapt to the busy schedules of potential clients. They are currently accepting referrals for therapy sessions aimed at children, adults, and families, thereby broadening the scope of their practice to foster mental wellness across all age groups.
The Wellness Path program is dedicated to promoting the mental health and overall well-being of the Willmar community, which is becoming an increasingly urgent priority as society recognizes the rising demand for mental health resources. In light of ongoing global stresses, including the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, mental health services play a crucial role in community resilience.
