UTRWD Employees Support Local Families with Thanksgiving Food Donation Drive
Lewisville, Texas – In November 2023, staff members from the Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD) participated in a charitable initiative aimed at supporting families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday season. The Human Resources (HR) department organized a food donation drive in collaboration with Friends of the Family, a local nonprofit agency dedicated to assisting individuals and families facing various challenges.
The food drive was a resounding success, with employees and their families coming together to gather donations. In total, they collected an impressive amount of food, sufficient to provide Thanksgiving meals for 50 local families.
