Ashley for the Arts Set to Celebrate 15th Anniversary with Expanded Festival
ARCADIA, Wis. — Ashley for the Arts, the annual three-day music and arts festival, will be held from Aug. 8-10 at Memorial Park in Arcadia, Wis. This year, in honor of its 15th anniversary, the festival is expanding its offerings with top musical acts such as Journey, Old Dominion, The Script, and Bret Michaels, among others. In addition to the main stage performances, there will be music all day on three side stages, featuring local artists, family-friendly shows, and school groups.
New additions to the festival include line dancing lessons, a youth outdoor skills challenge, Xpogo Extreme Pogo Stunt Show, and Dragoonies Flame Show. Returning favorites like the Art and Craft Fair, inflatable air park, and Timberworks Lumberjack show will also be featured.
The event will kick off with the annual Pursuit of a Cure Glow Run and foam party, which raises funds for medical research and helps offset medical costs for cancer patients.
Ashley for the Arts was founded in 2009 by Ron Wanek and Todd Wanek of Ashley Furniture Industries in response to a community request for an event to promote the arts. Over the past 15 years, the festival has grown into a popular annual gathering, attracting tens of thousands of attendees over the weekend. Through the years, Ashley for the Arts has donated over .5 million to more than 70 nonprofit organizations, including local schools, children’s charities, and medical research.
Cole Bawek, event director of Ashley for the Arts, expressed pride in the festival’s growth, stating, “What started as a small community event has blossomed into a nationally recognized festival, bringing joy, inspiration, and cultural enrichment to thousands of people.”
