Cowboy core style is expected to make a comeback in 2024 with the recent announcement of Beyoncé’s upcoming country album, Renaissance Act II. This trend embraces Americana fashion, featuring cowboy hats, boots, denim, leather jackets, and more.

Fashion experts from Boohoo noted a significant spike in interest in cowboy core following Beyoncé’s album announcement and Kim Kardashian’s appearance at a Super Bowl party sporting a large cowboy hat. Global Google searches for ‘cowboy hat’ surged by 212.5% after Beyoncé’s Super Bowl commercial release, accompanied by new music. Searches for ‘cowboy boots’ and ‘bolo tie’ also saw increases of 163% and 566%, respectively.

The turquoise bolo tie worn by Beyoncé in a Verizon commercial caused searches for this classic country western accessory to skyrocket by 566%. The bolo tie, traditionally paired with a collared shirt for formal events, can also be styled with dresses for an elegant look or worn as a choker with off-the-shoulder tops.

Cowboy hats have been a key element of cowboy core fashion trends, including the popular coastal cowgirl trend on TikTok. These hats can be styled with sundresses, denim, and shirts for a chic spring or summer look. Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian were both seen rocking cowboy hats over the Super Bowl weekend, leading to a 212.5% increase in Google searches for this iconic accessory.

As interest in cowboy core grows, cowboy boots are also gaining popularity once again. From mini-skirts to dresses and denim, cowboy boots add a stylish touch to any outfit, whether for a casual day out or a festival look. Women’s cowboy boots became a hit in 2023, and with Beyoncé’s country-inspired outfit at the Super Bowl, there has been a 163% surge in searches for ‘cowboy boots’ worldwide in anticipation of the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
