It’s amazing to think that it has been 50 years since the iconic Ingalls family graced our screens in the beloved show “Little House on the Prairie.” This timeless classic, which aired from 1974 to 1982, was based on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s treasured book series of the same name.
The story of Pa, Ma, and their daughters—Mary, Laura, and Carrie—settling on a farm near Walnut Grove, Minnesota, in the 1800s continues to hold a special place in our hearts, even as new Western TV shows like “Yellowstone” and “1883” have been introduced.
As the show celebrates its 50th anniversary, fans have an exciting opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of “Little House” at the official 50th Anniversary Cast Reunion and Festival. This three-day event, scheduled for March 22-24, 2024, will take place at the original filming location in Simi Valley, California.
Attendees can look forward to exploring recreated sets, taking photos in front of familiar backdrops, enjoying live music, food, activities, and interactive workshops.
