Xavier Dolan, the acclaimed Canadian filmmaker known for his breakout films like “Mommy,” has been appointed President of the Un Certain Regard Jury for the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Having made his directorial debut at the young age of 19 with “I Killed My Mother,” Dolan quickly caught the attention of the film industry.
