U.S. actor and producer David Boreanaz, known for his roles in popular TV shows like “Bones,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel,” and “SEAL Team,” has been chosen to lead the fiction jury at the 63rd Monte-Carlo Television Festival. The festival is set to take place from June 14 to 18.

Joining Boreanaz on the fiction jury are industry experts such as Piv Bernth from Apple Tree Productions, Teresa Fernandez Valdes from Te Espero en Marte, Claire Mundell from Synchronicity Films, Ulrich Thomsen, and Noor Sadar from White Lion Films.

Meanwhile, the news and documentaries jury will be headed by Steve Anderson, a highly experienced journalist and former controller of news and current affairs at ITV. Other members of this jury include professionals from countries like Italy, Czech Republic, Portugal, and Monaco.

Additionally, the festival will feature a Business Content program with panel discussions covering a wide range of topics such as content creation, AI tools in television production, marketing in television, and international co-productions. Notable contributors include Dan Cohen from Paramount, Lori McCreary from Revelations Entertainment, Leslie Greif from Big Dreams Entertainment, and Remi Tereszkiewicz from Betaseries.

Festival director Cécile Menoni expressed her excitement about the lineup of contributors, stating, “By attracting top creative talent to our juries and panels, our festival remains a key player in the global entertainment industry.”
