Cate Blanchett to Head Jury at Camerimage Film Festival

Renowned actress Cate Blanchett has been selected as the jury president for the main competition at this year’s Camerimage Film Festival in Torun, Poland. Leading the jury responsible for awarding the prestigious Golden Frog, Blanchett brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Having previously served as the president of festival juries at Cannes Film Festival in 2018 and the Venice International Film Festival in 2020, Blanchett is a two-time Oscar winner with an impressive list of credits to her name. Her notable work includes films such as The Aviator, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Elizabeth, Notes on a Scandal, and Carol. Additionally, Blanchett is a respected producer and co-founder of Dirty Films, a production company behind acclaimed projects like Warwick Thornton’s The New Boy.

Marek Żydowicz, the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Director, expressed his excitement about having Blanchett on board, stating, “Cate is an outstanding artist who defies all definitions.
