The 21st annual Chalk Walk Arts Festival, hosted by Jasper Community Arts, will take place at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center in Jasper, IN on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Attendees can look forward to exciting activities such as tie-dyeing their own Chalk Walk t-shirt, getting free balloon art from Balloons by Aaron, having caricatures drawn by Rolando DeCastro, enjoying a bounce house for kids, and participating in make-and-take art projects. Of course, the main event of chalking on the sidewalks around the center will also be a highlight for both kids and adults.
To participate, individuals are required to register online and pay a registration fee. Each registrant will receive a free Chalk Walk cinch sack with chalk, a t-shirt (for pre-registered participants), and donated items from local businesses.
The Chalk Walk Arts Festival is made possible thanks to the support of local businesses like Papa John’s Pizza of Jasper and the Greater Jasper Downtown Business Association.
