The introduction of weekly Thursday services to the Mediterranean destination means that customers and independent travel agents in the region now have access to the popular destination and neighbouring island of Gozo for the first time.

Passengers at the airport were treated to branded cupcakes at check-in as part of the celebrations for the first flight.
