Vietnam recently hosted its first International Jazz Festival in Nha Trang City at the Thanh Nien Stadium. The festival, which spanned five nights, showcased a diverse range of audio and lighting solutions to enhance the sound and visuals for over 100 artists from Vietnam and around the world, including musicians from the US, Singapore, and Korea.
Attendees were treated to a variety of musical performances, ranging from classic melodies to bossa nova and jazz funk. The goal of the festival was not only to highlight the universal appeal of jazz but also to promote Nha Trang City as a safe and exciting destination for both domestic and international tourists.
The audio setup for the event featured top-of-the-line equipment, including d&b speakers such as GSL8 and GSL12 loudspeakers and SL subwoofers. The sound system also included V8 and V subwoofers from the manufacturer’s V range, along with D80 and D20 four-channel amplifiers. To manage the audio mixing, DiGiCo consoles like the Quantum 338 and 225, as well as the SD8, were utilized.
In terms of lighting, the festival boasted 21 Martin Professional MAC Viper Profile luminaires to create a vibrant visual atmosphere. Overall, the International Jazz Festival in Nha Trang City was a successful event that not only celebrated the art of jazz but also highlighted the city as a must-visit destination for music enthusiasts from around the globe.
