Sublime Returns to Original Format with Release of New Single
After fifteen years of performing as Sublime With Rome, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh are returning to the original Sublime format with the late Bradley Nowell’s son, Jakob Nowell, on vocals. The band has recently released a new single titled “Feel Like That”, marking Sublime’s first new music in 28 years.
The single features vocals from both Bradley and Jakob Nowell, along with Scott Woodruff of Stick Figure contributing vocals and production to the track. Jakob Nowell expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “hearing my own voice on a track side by side with my dad’s voice really feels like the classic Sublime sound stepping into the modern era.”
Bassist Eric Wilson also shared his enthusiasm for the new single, saying, “It’s always great to hear Bradley’s voice, but having Jake’s voice on there makes it even sweeter.”
The release of “Feel Like That” coincides with Sublime’s upcoming festival circuit, with performances scheduled at various locations across the United States, including the Point Break Festival in Virginia Beach and the Closer To The Sun Festival in Riviera Maya, Mexico in December.
“Feel Like That” is now available on major streaming platforms like Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
