Figment, the beloved topiary dragon, has found a new home at this year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The iconic dragon now serves as the centerpiece of the recently-opened World Celebration Gardens at the park.
Previously located in front of his home pavilion, Journey into Imagination, Figment can now be found in the central planter at World Celebration Gardens. The Gardens opened to the public on December 5th, 2023, making this year the first time they will be used for the Flower & Garden Festival.
In addition to Figment, more than 70 topiaries are being meticulously pruned for the festival. New topiaries, such as Groot near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Miguel and Dante from Pixar’s Coco near Mexico, and Asha, Valentino, and Star from the film Wish at the main entrance, add to the magical atmosphere of the event.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run from February 28th to May 27th, 2024, giving visitors plenty of time to enjoy the stunning displays and attractions. For those looking to experience all the fun, we recommend planning your trip with our travel partner, Mouse Fan Travel.
