Ricky Martin to Headline 2024 LA Pride in the Park Festival
Ricky Martin is set to kick off Pride Month in a big way as he headlines the 2024 LA Pride in the Park Festival on June 8 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park in California.
The 52-year-old Latin superstar expressed his excitement about headlining the event, citing the opportunity to celebrate love, diversity, and equality. In a press release, Ricky Martin stated, “LA Pride is a testament to the power of community, the power of visibility, and the power of standing up for our rights. Being part of this vibrant community fills me with pride and purpose.”
The theme for this year’s festival is “Power in Pride,” highlighting the LGBTQIA+ community’s ability to live authentically. Ricky Martin publicly came out as gay in 2010 and recently shared the family member who encouraged him to come out in a new interview.
