Good Energy, a leading clean energy company based in Chippenham, has been announced as the official sponsor of The Festival of Sustainable Homes. The event is scheduled to take place in Swindon on Friday and Saturday, 17-18th May, and is expected to draw in thousands of people from the South West region.
Hosted at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre, the family-friendly show will showcase over 200 exhibitors providing advice on how to make homes more sustainable. Attendees can also look forward to inspiring talks, educational tours, and a nature zone highlighting environmental charities and organizations.
Good Energy has been at the forefront of clean energy for 25 years, supplying electricity from a network of over 2,000 renewable generators and offering tailored solar panel and heat pump installations. Head of marketing, Laura Wildish, expressed excitement about supporting the festival and emphasized the importance of addressing the climate crisis through sustainable energy solutions.
The Festival of Sustainable Homes aims to empower individuals to embrace greener living by educating them on sustainable home practices. Managing director of NSBRC, Harvey Fremlin, highlighted Good Energy’s expertise as renewable pioneers and emphasized the partnership’s role in educating the public about creating sustainable homes.
The festival will be open from 9am-5pm on both days, with free parking available. Attendees can secure free tickets in advance by visiting the NSBRC website. In addition to the festival, Good Energy will also sponsor Chippenham Pride on Saturday, 15th June.
