Dundee Rep is excited to announce that their highly praised production, No Love Songs, will be making its way to London’s Southwark Playhouse Elephant from Tuesday 4th to Saturday 15th June 2024. Tickets are now available for purchase on the Southwark Playhouse website.

The musical, which received five-star reviews, was created by Kyle Falconer, the lead singer of the Mercury Prize nominated band, The View, along with his partner Laura Wilde and co-writer Johnny McKnight. No Love Songs brings to life songs from Kyle’s solo album, No Love Songs For Laura, including hits like Stress Ball and Mother.

Kyle Falconer and Laura Wilde expressed their excitement about bringing No Love Songs to a wider audience, particularly in London. They shared their anticipation of hearing feedback from the audience, confident that they will love the show.

Co-directed by Dundee Rep’s Artistic Director, Andrew Panton, and Associate Director Tashi Gore, No Love Songs tells a poignant story of love and the challenges of new parenthood, addressing the sensitive topic of post-natal depression. The musical follows Lana and Jessie as they navigate the complexities of their new roles as parents.

Andrew Panton, Dundee Rep’s Artistic Director, expressed his delight at bringing No Love Songs to Southwark Playhouse, following its success at the Edinburgh Festival. He looks forward to sharing the impact of the show with London audiences before embarking on an international tour.
