The Northern Lights provided a stunning display at the Highest Point festival in Lancaster’s Williamson Park on Friday night. The breathtaking natural phenomenon appeared after performances by Sam Ryder and Tom Odell, captivating thousands of festival-goers as it danced over the Ashton Memorial.
Organizer Rich Dyer expressed his amazement, stating, “We’re accustomed to beautiful sunsets and amazing views at Highest Point, but witnessing the Northern Lights is truly remarkable.”
The festival will continue tonight with performances from boy band Busted, fashion icon Gok Wan, and rising star Caity Baser. Highest Point prides itself on being family-friendly, with free entry for children under 12. The event is also fully accessible, with complimentary tickets available for carers.
