The upcoming fourth annual gala at the Academy Museum will be a star-studded event honoring Paul Mescal, Rita Moreno, and Quentin Tarantino on October 19. This prestigious event aims to raise funds to support museum exhibitions, education initiatives, and public programming.

Paul Mescal will be awarded the Vantage Award for his contributions in contextualizing and challenging dominant narratives in cinema. Rita Moreno will receive the Icon Award for her significant global cultural impact, while Quentin Tarantino will be honored with the Luminary Award for expanding creative possibilities in cinema.

The gala, supported by Rolex, will be co-chaired by Dr. Eric Esrailian, Salma Hayek Pinault, Nicole Kidman, Eva Longoria, and Tyler Perry. Amy Homma, the incoming director and president of the Academy Museum, expressed excitement for honoring these talented artists and their groundbreaking achievements. Last year’s ceremony raised over million by celebrating Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, and Sofia Coppola.
