CICLOPE, known as the home of craft in Latin America, has unveiled the winners for the year 2024. The event took place in São Paulo, where attendees gathered to celebrate the art of craft.

The two-day gathering brought together the top craft professionals in the region for discussions, networking, and a showcase of the best craftwork in the area. The event culminated in an Awards Show where winners were honored with trophies. Esteemed jurors from Latin America and around the world recognized exceptional creative work in various categories such as direction, cinematography, production design, editing, VFX, animation, and fashion film.

The jury bestowed a Grand Prix award as well as 18 other accolades. The highly coveted Grand Prix was presented to Cancer Before Cancer, created by Rebeca and Agosto Music & Sound Craft for Fundación Peruana de Cáncer. The project was produced by Rebeca, directed by Roddy Dextre, and developed in collaboration with the advertising agency Fahrenheit DDB. Notable contributors to the project include Director of Photography Julian Estrada, Production Designer Luciana Masias, and Executive Producer Alejandro Noriega. The project also involved VFX and editing by Nativo Studio, music direction by Claudia Incio, and sound design by Charly García.

The list of winners can be found on the CICLOPE Festival website. In addition to the awards, CICLOPE Festival also recognized PRIMO as the Production Company of the Year, Publicis as the Agency of the Year, and Nico Pérez Veiga and Roddy Dextre as Directors of the Year.

Founder and festival director, Francisco Condorelli, expressed his excitement, stating, “After two days filled with inspiring talks, networking, and award-winning craft, it’s amazing to announce the winners. A big thank you to all our jurors, speakers, and attendees for making this year’s festival truly special. We are already looking forward to 2025.”
