Continued sales growth for Lindex with strengthened digital share

Today, Lindex presents its interim report for the first quarter of 2024 and reports continued sales growth in both physical stores and digital channels.

Lindex’s sales during the first quarter increased by 2.7 per cent in local currencies and by 4.0 per cent in SEK. The fashion company continued its growth in physical stores with an increase of 1.8 per cent compared to the same period previous year. The digital sales increased by 8.9 per cent during the quarter, accounting for 22.9 per cent of Lindex’s total sales (21.6 per cent 2023).

H&M’s nomination committee proposes Helena Saxon as new board member

The nomination committee of H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB has now completed its work ahead of the annual general meeting on 3 May 2024. The nomination committee proposes that Helena Saxon is elected as a new member of the board of directors and that the following current board members are re-elected: Stina Bergfors, Anders Dahlvig, Danica Kragic Jensfelt, Lena Patriksson Keller, Karl-Johan Persson, Christian Sievert and Christina Synnergren. It is proposed that Karl-Johan Persson is re-elected as chair of the board. Niklas Zennström has declined re-election as he will focus on his own companies

H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB Three-month report

First quarter (1 December 2023 – 29 february 2024) 

· The H&M group’s net sales amounted to SEK 53,699 m (54,872).
· Gross profit increased by 7 percent to SEK 27,655 m (25,886). This corresponds to a gross margin of 51.5 percent (47.2).
· Operating profit amounted to SEK 2,077 m (725), corresponding to an operating margin of 3.9 percent (1.3). Adjusted for result from investments in associated companies and joint ventures of SEK -14 m (999) the operating profit amounted to SEK 2,091 m (-274), corresponding to an improvement in profit of SEK 2,365 m.
